As the population ages and more individuals access their pensions, efficient administration is crucial to help members prepare for retirement. Additionally, administrators will be looking after more people in receipt of their pension, and ultimately those people’s spouses and dependants. Clear communication and strong engagement play a vital role in guiding members journey into and through retirement. To enhance engagement and streamline administration, pension administrators must use a combination of technology and empathy.
This session will address:
- Engaging with members before, and during, their move into retirement
- What does good engagement mean for the increasing number of people in retirement?
- Technology v’s empathy – they don’t have to be mutually exclusive
With 2025 seeing the start of wider industry connection to the dashboards ecosystem it is integral to stay on top of the key Dashboard developments. Hear from the Pensions Dashboard Programme for a detailed progress update alongside insights from the connection of the first cohort of participants.
This session will address:
- What has been the connection experience for the first cohort of connection participants
- How to prepare for connection and what are the challenges to look out for
- What can schemes do to overcome these challenges
